Creamy Italian Chicken

This is an easy, hearty meal that is perfect on a chilly fall or winter night. I'm sure I'm not the first person to come up with this recipe but it's an easy combination that I thought up the other night and decided to give it a try. I chose to serve it with whole grain wide noodles, but you could use any pasta that you have on hand or even rice would be good. Again, this is another recipe with only a few ingredients that's quick, easy and delicious! Enjoy!

Creamy Italian Chicken

What You'll Need:

  • 1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cans Cream of Chicken soup
  • 1 packet dry Italian dressing mix
  • 12 oz package wide noodles

Directions:

Place chicken breasts in bottom of slow cooker.

In a medium bowl, combine the two cans of soup with the Italian dressing.
Pour mixture over chicken.

Cook on HIGH for 3-4 hours or LOW for 6-8 hours.
*You can use frozen chicken breasts and just add 1-2 hours to the cook time.

When chicken is almost done, cook pasta according to package directions.

Chicken will shred easily with a fork when it's done. We mix the cooked pasta in with the chicken and sauce or you could serve the chicken over the pasta.
